In My Mind's Eye by Michael Redgrave
Ever since I saw the author in the title role in Richard II at Stratford over 50 years ago, I have enjoyed vivid memories of his masterly performance. While this book is largely autobiographical, he is particularly interesting on solving technical problems on the stage and the interpretation of characters. Good too on the difference between acting techniques before a movie camera as opposed to on a stage.
