How to Stop Time by Matt Haig
The novel is as much fable as fantasy, narrated by a 400 yr old man born in France with a condition that has prevented him aging as other mortals. His experiences through several centuries and regions of the world, and his reflections on what it is to be alive, its opportunities and challenges , are engaging. It is imaginative, clever and ultimately both moving and wise.
