Poetry for younger readers can be disappointing. So much seems to rely on laighter that is embarrassing. Not in this case. Matt Goodfellow looks at what it is to be a teenager progressing fro that nervous transition to Year 8 then on to Year 11. It is not always comfortable; but being a teen is not always comfortable. Indeed there are moments that are heart breaking. This is poetry to reach those young readers.
