This is the story of Rose Dugdale a woman born into wealth and privilege who threw it all over and became a revolutionary and was involved in a famous art heist in Ireland of the great Dutch painter Jan Vermeer for which she served a prison sentence. It is a riveting read. She is for me not
a person to admire. Now an ancient-of-days she lives quietly in Ireland.
