This International spy thriller in the form of an epic novel combines both a murder mystery and a plot to unleash a chemical cataclysm on America. It is multi-layered; the narrative moves from one strange event to another eventually bringing all the diverse characters and plots to a final conclusion. Not exactly a page turner but a satisfying read with strongly defined characters. It would definitely translate well into a film similar to Jason Bourne or the Homeland series.
