At last - an enjoyable and substantial novel for younger readers. Eleven year old Quenelda longs to become a dragon knight like her father - not a career for a girl. However, she has a gift that will set her apart - she can talk to dragons. Is she the real Dragon Whisperer? While not outstandingly original, this is a good, exciting read and to be recommended.
