The Saturday Morning Murder by Batya Gur
This Israeli novel is more a whodunnit than thriller. It is largely set in a Jerusalem psychiatric institute where the body of a leading psychiatrist is found shortly before she was due to deliver a lecture to an international group of specialists. Commissaire Michael Ohayon, the hero of all the author's detective stories, has the task of unravelling the mystery to find the culprit. A gripping story with an interesting local background.
