Do you like ‘cosy crime’? I do – and I have just discovered S J Bennett . This is definitely cosy with the late Queen as the main protagonist and solver of the who-done-it. It is handled with affection and a bit of tongue-in-cheek and I am finding them thoroughly enjoyable. This is the third in the series – I am now trying number 1. No edge- of- the -seat chases here so sit back for a wander through protocol and royal residences – but with a very sharp witted and intelligent ‘detective’.
