The sixth in the Cormoran Strike detective series is as satisfyingly long as ever and Rowling’s characterisation, of course, is excellent. However, I found it to be less accessible than the others due to many pages of “conversation” by users of an online game. This broke up the narrative and was a little irritating. Still well worth reading, but if you don’t like the “computer speak” there is always the option of watching the television version and moving on to the next book, which is already available.
